Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of theswitchboardcollective.com, our product apps and websites, and related services (the “Service”) operated by The Switchboard Collective LLC (“Switchboard,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By creating an account, requesting an SMS code, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Accounts and Authentication
Some features require an account. You are responsible for accurate registration information, keeping credentials secure, and activity under your account. We may offer sign-in by email magic link, phone one-time passcode, or other methods we make available.
3. SMS Program Terms
By providing your mobile number and requesting a verification or sign-in code, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from The Switchboard Collective related to authentication and account security.
- Program description: one-time passcodes and related account security notices.
- Frequency: message frequency varies; usually one message per code request.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@theswitchboardcollective.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive SMS is not required as a condition of purchase.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service in violation of law or regulation.
- Do not interfere with systems, upload harmful code, scrape data without consent, or impersonate others.
- Do not abuse SMS or authentication flows, including requesting codes for numbers you do not control.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third parties for hosting, analytics, email, payments, and SMS delivery (including Twilio). Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
6. Disclaimer and Limitation
The Service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Switchboard Collective LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
